THE NOMAD

DESCRIPTION

Unlike most factions, the Nomad is not a faction. Rather, The Nomad is (perhaps) a single individual. (It is thought, by some, that there are many Nomads who look the same, as they appear too far apart too frequently to be believed as the same person).

The Nomad's identity is a mystery, but claims to be from a future (along with his/her five generals) that they are trying to prevent. The Nomad appeared suddenly, and with numerous resources, as well as mysterious knowledge about people and events in the galaxy. And one of the Generals is a Mahact, for Pete's sake, so something weird's going on.

There is more to the mysterious Nomad than even the faction sheet knows, so I will link here an interview with Dane Beltrami on Space Cats Peace Turtles, where he discusses in more detail the potential time travel elements, as I have leaned into this thematically on this page. Pertinent details start at 1:26:00.
